5pm-9pm
Glamorous Eltham Palace & Gardens in Eltham will be set for a sparkling wedding on Thursday 26 September – with ceremony, drinks reception, dinner and dancing all staged to showcase just how exquisite that special day can be.
From 5pm until 9pm, couples can view the stunning circular coffee and cream Art Deco Entrance Hall set up for an intimate ceremony with floral arrangements, the Italian Drawing Room set up for a drinks reception and the Medieval Great Hall, atmospherically lit and set for dinner, along with a DJ and a dance floor.
A host of top quality accredited suppliers – including European and Asian caterers offering delicious drinks and canapés, London based wedding dress designer Sabina Motasem will be there in person with the full collection and brand new pieces from the next collection that mixes old and new Hollywood in simple elegant shapes, florists, wedding cake designer, photographers, videographers and wedding car suppliers – will be on hand to provide a wealth of wedding day inspiration.
Experts from the English Heritage Hospitality team will be able to offer advice, plus an exclusive look around the prestigious and popular Art Deco mansion, Medieval Great Hall and stunning grounds, which can be hired for civil ceremonies and celebratory dinners for up to 200 and standing receptions for up to 300 guests.
Once the childhood home of flamboyant King Henry VIII, Eltham Palace was transformed in the 1930s into a superb millionaire’s mansion and still bears the unmistakably stylish stamp of Art Deco, making it one of London’s most sought-after wedding locations.
The event runs from 5pm-9pm on Thursday 26th September – and will be the last chance to view Eltham Palace before it closes for essential maintenance this winter. For further information call 020 8294 2577 or visitwww.english-heritage.org.uk/hospitality
