Dim Sum and Cocktails is a winning combination, and also a trend that seems to be having a revival of late. It’s a formula that London’s Ping Pong Dim Sum nailed a long time ago, and continues to do extremely well as it opens its latest venue in Covent Garden’s Maiden Lane.
Bringing a contemporary twist to the traditional Chinese style of dish, foodies will be delighted to try the new Autumnal menu, proving itself very much on-trend with a range of seasonal offerings and a dessert designed by Julien MacDonald, no less!
Ping Pong’s newest site enjoys a sleek interior design with contemporary artworks, across a split-level setting. With a long-slung, standalone lounge bar, stunning mezzanine private dining room, and feature light installation.
Whether lunching with friends, dining on a date or stepping in for cocktails, Ping Pong’s brand new Autumn menu, launching alongside the opening of its Covent Garden site, features new takes on the expertly steamed Dim Sum and crafted cocktails that the restaurant is famed for.
Firecracker Chicken Rolls
The Aubergine and Pearl Barley Dumpling (v) (£3.65), cooked in lemon juice with a green tea wheat pastry, is a great seasonal special to share with a Chestnut Sour (£6.95) cocktail; while signature dishes, including the fluffy and sweet Soft Shell Crab Bao (£11) and delicately spiced Firecracker Chicken Roll (£4.95) are perfectly accompanied with the punchy Raspberries and Bourbon cocktail (£8.95); all of which can be ordered from the lively Dim Sum bar, cocktail lounge or mezzanine private dining room – perfect for private functions and special occasions.

Ping Pong Covent Garden will also offer interactive STEAM IT Dim Sum and SHAKE UP Cocktail masterclasses, hosted by Ping Pong’s team of expert bartenders and chefs, perfect for parties after something a little different.
