With opportunities to meet producers and stall-holders behind-the-scenes and numerous chances to sample the most vivid, authentic food available, the three hour tours will let small tour groups get under the skin of London’s culinary melting pot. First stop on the ‘London’s Secret History of Street Food Tours’ is Borough Market, the oldest food market in London dating back to the 13th century and a hive of activity. Emma will lead the way through the market’s historic winding passages, past the eye-boggling displays and deafening calls from traders.

Next the group will be led to Rope Walk/Maltby St Market, which began life under the railway arches in Bermondsey in 2010 and has since grown into a full-blown gastronomic haven – many global food trends have emerged here.

The ‘London’s Secret History of Street Food Tours’ will take place on Saturday mornings and are available to guests staying at Presidential Apartments’ luxury serviced apartment suites.

Prices are £28pp based on a min of 2, or £75 for a family of 2 adults and up to 3 children. Prices do not include travel costs, but do include a complimentary hot drink and some small bites of food along the tour.

 

Tour groups will be collected from the Apartments’ location in West London at 10am and will finish by 1pm. Tour groups will travel by public transport and on foot and will be a maximum of ten people.
